Refund policy

1. Eligibility

  • We gladly accept returns or exchanges on non-perishable products that are unused, unopened products within 7 days of delivery.

  • We do not accept returns for change of mind for our food products (unless they are received damaged or defective) as they are a perishable product that we cannot sell on to other customers. 

2. Condition of Items

  • Items must be in their original packaging and in the same condition as received.

  • We cannot accept returns of items that have been opened, used, or are not in their original condition.

3. Process

  • Email us at hello@thorneandstewart.com with your order number and a brief description of the issue.

4. Refunds & Exchanges

  • Approved refunds will be processed to your original payment method within 7 business days of receiving the returned item.

  • If you prefer, we can send a replacement product instead of a refund.

5. Return Shipping

  • If the item is defective or damaged, we will cover the return courier cost.

  • For all other returns, the buyer is responsible for return shipping.

6. Consumer Protection Act

  • This policy is in line with the South African Consumer Protection Act, which protects your right to receive goods that are of good quality, in working order, and free of defects.
